The Datalink Test Facility (DTF), Eglin AFB Florida, plans to contract, on a sole source basis, with BAE Systems/Rockwell Collins Datalink Solutions L.L.C. (DLS), 350 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498 to supply a Terminal Acceptance Test Set (TATS). BAE Systems/Rockwell Collins Datalink Solutions is the sole designer and builder of the TATS. This system will provide capability to simulate a real-time, high traffic operational environment while providing capability to evaluate and process test data to evaluate the performance of each type of Multifunctional Information Distribution System (MIDS) LVT-1 terminals. The TATS system will be ordered, configured and delivered with (1) P/N M042A152-01, US TATS - Standard ATP Station, (2) TATS System Training documentation and Operation (Terminal Acceptance Procedures and Technical Data Document) documentation, (3) All required cabling for LVT-1 Terminals, (4) TATS Test software loaded on system, copies provided with delivery of TATS, (5) Documentation information on the Fixed Attenuation used by the M042A152-01 for the Jammer interface and (6) verification of TATS stations, performed at the DLS/BAE SYSTEMS facility prior to delivery, IAW TATS ATP R201A470Y010 and MIDS Terminal ATP R201A628E110. The contracted supplier will purchase and integrate all COTS components required for assembly of TATS, provide copies of all internal documents relating to the TATS in addition to the documentation specified in (2) above, provide one week of training, for up to 6 individuals, at the DLS/BAE SYSTEMS facility as well as one week of installation support at Eglin AFB. The government will furnish two LVT-1 Terminals to vendor 3 months prior to delivery of TATS. Information associated with this effort is unclassified.
