Full Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement with the attached Standard Form 1449 constitutes the only solicitation for which proposals are being requested. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-59. The applicable NAICS code is 334419 with at size standard of 500 employees. Payment will be made by the Defense Financial and Accounting System (DFAS); therefore, vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (http://www.ccr.gov/), as well as, Wide Area Work Flow (https://wawf.eb.mil/). This solicitation is issued for full and open competition as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Government intends to award one firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to one responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be of best value to the Government. Quotation Submission Instructions: The Center for Countermeasures (CCM) at White Sands Missile Range has a requirement for a Digital Servo Drive Upgrade for Unit 234 and Unit 284. In order to be considered for award, all vendors shall electronically submit the completed SF 1449 solicitation, any product descriptive literature to validate a complete technical review demonstrating that all of the capabilities listed in the solicitation's requirement specifications are met. Proposals/quotations that do not include sufficient technical information will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered further for award. Technical sufficiency is determined by meeting all aspect s of the purchase description as stated in the attached Solicitation SF 1449. All items must be new. Used or remanufactured items/equipment will not be considered for award. Vendors may also submit their most recent published price list(s) with quoted item(s) highlighted. All quotations must be submitted electronically via Email, and be received not later than 2:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, on 29 Aug 2012 in order to be considered for an award. Any questions or concerns regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing via e-mail to: contact@example.gov, Contract Specialist, not later than 27 August 2012. Basis of Award: Award shall be made to the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) quotation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. All submittals will be evaluated based on price as long as the items meet the specifications listed in the solicitation's requirement specifications. DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS: Delivery terms shall be FOB Destination.
