59 -- WPMDS Hardware & Software Maintenance

The maintenance period for this requirement will be from 13 Nov 2007 to 30 September 2008. -End of Amendment- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Sub Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F3HRA17236AC01 is issued as a request for quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-15. This solicitation is issued as a total small business set-aside; the NAICS Code is 423430. 55 CONS intends to issue a firm fixed priced purchase order for the following supply items: The contractor shall provide Sun Gold hardware and software maintenance for WPMDS systems at 9 locations which are listed on the attached spreadsheet (Silver support will suffice for overseas locations). The Fort Bragg, North Carolina equipment is located in a classified environment. The rest of the sites are located in a controlled environment. The Government will also need to retain any defective disks for security purposes. Gold Spectrum Service includes: 7x24 hour telephone support 8am - 8pm Mon-Fri on-site support w/ parts 4 hour response after dispatching All potential bidders are reminded, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contract Registration, that lack of registration in the CCR database by Friday 2 November 2007, at 4:00 pm (cst) will make a bidder ineligible for award. Also, the contractor must have the NAICS code listed in this solicitation on their CCR Registration.
