The Navy’s Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound is soliciting a sole-source firm fixed-price contract for a set of specialized adapter cable components, including shielding, conduit fittings, connectors, plugs, backsheets, and adapters, all of which are exclusively manufactured by Glenair Inc. due to their proprietary design and incompatibility with competing products. These items are direct replacements for equipment installed aboard the USS HIGGINS, necessitating the use of original Glenair parts to ensure system integrity and interoperability.
