PURPOSE: To establish an Indefinite Quantity Agreement for Machining Services, including parts, on an as needed basis. The estimated dollar amount to be spent on this agreement is $15,000.00. This is an estimate of the annual needs of the City under this Agreement and are for bidding purposes only. This estimate is not to be construed as representing an actual order for that amount, or a guarantee that any minimum amount will actually be purchased. Subsequent to the acceptance of an offer, individual written purchase orders may be issued as needed by the City to purchase items listed herein during the term of the agreement. At no time shall the obligation of the City agency exceed the dollar amount of an associated purchase order. The Agreement will expire on 10/31/2027. Any available funds not obligated by the City by means of a Purchase Order on or prior to that date shall be cancelled after that date. All work shall be performed by a Machinist with at least 5 years of experience. Prices shall be FOB Destination Freight Prepaid & Allowed unless otherwise specified. SCOPE OF SERVICES: 1. Provide all types of lathing, machining, and milling on an immediate as need basis. 2. Provide pickup and delivery of all contracting work items. PICKUP / DELIVERY LOCATION (additional locations maybe added): 1. The Contractor is responsible for pickup and delivery of all contracted work. 2. Any assumed delivery charge must be calculated and added in the hourly bid. 3. Most work requires the use of a trailer to transport materials. 4. Pickup and delivery of items. MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT: Contractor must have the ability to do all types of machine work including Lathe, Milling, Resurfacing of all types of metals and plastics for a variety of industrial applications. Work will include but not limited to: machine wear rings with an outside diameter of 42 inches, stems (with threads), keyway slots and pins created, etc.) FREQUENCY OF LOADS: 1. Frequency of service: as needed. 2. The Contractor shall be prepared to respond to service requests within 24 hours for service.
