The contract involves the procurement of a single power supply unit identified by NSN 7Z-6130-014316767-TE, with technical data package version 007, to be delivered to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division in China Lake, California. The contract is intended for Technology Dynamics Inc. in Bergenfield, New Jersey. This notice of intent is issued under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, indicating that the Government plans to negotiate a sole-source contract due to proprietary restrictions and economic considerations. While this notice is not a solicitation for competitive quotes, interested parties may express their interest or submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations within prescribed timeframes, and such submissions may be considered to determine whether to proceed with competitive procurement. The acquisition will not follow FAR Part 12 policies for commercial item acquisitions, although vendors can notify the contracting officer within 15 days if they believe they can fulfill the requirement with a commercial item. Relevant documentation is accessible through the DoD Single Stock Point and online portals, but detailed technical materials like drawings and purchase descriptions are not publicly stocked. The contract is administered by the Navsup Weapon Systems Support office based in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, with Maria Acosta Perez serving as the point of contact.
