Full Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures to Aegis Power Supply, Inc, 805 Greenlawn Cemetery Road, Murphy NC 28906-9137 for five (5) each CAMS custom power suppleis, P/N VME-450A-03-103. This purchase is unsuitable for full and open competition for the following reasons. These items were specifically tested and evaluated against the Naval Sea Systems Command technical requirements as provided on the LCAC C4N System Baseline Configuration 3 (SBC3) product specification during the product’s initial prototyping and evaluation phase. No other source for these interface boards currently exists. These materials have the same form and fit as the current fielded SBC3 CAMS and Aegis Power Systems is the OEM for the power supplies used by the fleet. Delivery will be to the Naval Support Activity Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 101 Vernon Ave, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7018. NAICS Code 325120 applies. FSC 6130 . Size Standard is 1000 employees. The closing date for this RFQ is 01/14/2013. The Department of Defense will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database.
