The United States Air Force, through the Air Force Sustainment Center at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex, is seeking a firm fixed price contract for the teardown, test, evaluation, and repair of six Transformer Rectifier Units for B-2 aircraft. The scope of work includes the repair of complex components such as circuit card assemblies, interphase transformers, and wiring boards, as well as the provision of data reporting and potential over and above services. Due to the government's lack of proprietary data and the specialized facilities required for the work, this is intended as a sole-source procurement. Eldec Corporation is identified as the only qualified source capable of performing the repair and testing. The solicitation process is managed by the contracting office at Tinker Air Force Base, with specific requirements for vendor qualification through the original equipment manufacturer.
