Solicitation SPE4A624R0105 is a Firm Fixed Price contract issued by DLA Aviation for the procurement of cable assemblies (NSN 6150-01-572-1888) supporting the Minuteman III (LGM-30) missile system. The acquisition is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside and is being conducted as a limited competition under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(1). This non-competitive approach is necessitated by the classified nature of the system and the unavailability of technical data, restricting the identified sources to Marvin Engineering Co., Richard Manufacturing Company, and Raytheon Company. The contract structure consists of a two-year base period with one three-year option, including provisions for surge capacity and term extensions in 36-month increments. While specific pricing is not provided, the acquisition is administratively justified in a range between 20 million and 150 million dollars, triggering a mandatory technical certification for values exceeding 15 million dollars. The primary deliverable involves an estimated annual demand of 720 units, with performance and administration centered in Richmond, Virginia.
