Full Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 339999 (All Other Miscellaneous Manufacturing). The Morse Watchmans KeyWatcher Illuminated is known to meet the Government's needs. The Government is requesting that responsible sources respond if it can provide similar key locker storage systems with the following specifications: 1. Securely stores at least 48 keys in various configurations 2. Securely stores at least 8 credit cards with credit card modules 3. Securely stores various small items or weapons with locker modules 4. Illuminated key slots for ease of visual identification in dark environments 5. Alarm-equipped, capable of detection for: a. Attempted forcible entry b. Multiple invalid user code entry c. Door ajar d. Missing key/late key turn-in 6. Electronically record key check-outs and turn-ins (times, users, etc.) 7. Report creation 8. Tamper-proof locking mechanism for keys 9. Access modules with HID Proximity Card Reader Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing this product. Please include your business size and any associated socioeconomic status with your submittal. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339999 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Jim Hedman at contact@example.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 3:00 pm Central Standard Time on Friday, May 6, 2016.
