INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Alexandria VA Health Care System, Alexandria, Louisiana, intends to award a sole-source purchase order to Shukla Medical, doing business as, a division of S. S. White Technologies, Inc., 151 Old New Brunswick Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854, for the procurement of Shukla Medical Xtract-All Screw V.2 Extraction System for use in Orthopedic/Spine surgeries. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106(1)(i) only 1 responsible source because the Government believes that S.S. White Technologies, Inc. is the only manufacturer/seller/installer of these units and that only these units have the technology that is clinically acceptable for use for the required purposes. The instrument/system will be combined with already existing sets during Orthopedic and Spine surgeries. This notice of intent is not for competitive quotes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 339113, small business size standard of 750 employees.
