65 -- Air Sampling/Aerosol Measurement Equipment

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to MSP Corporation located in Shoreview, MN. The purchase order is to purchase Air Sampling/Aerosol Measurement Equipment. It consists of the following: 1) rotating moudi, 110 10-stage rotating moudi with rotator assembly including: MDI-110-5 (11) 47 mm impaction plate/final filter holder set. MDI-247 (300) 47 mm aluminum foil impaction substrates & 2 masks, CLS-11025 silicon impaction surface spray, X spare O-ring kit, MMC silicon lubricating grease; 2) Nano-Moudi, 115-1 Nano-MOUDI including: NAN 115-5 (3) 47 mm impaction plate holders with (1) 47 mm final filter holder, MDI-247 (300) 47 mm aluminum foil impaction substrates & 2 masks, CLS-11025 silicon impaction surface spray, X spar O-ring kit, MMC silicon lubricating grease; 3) sample pump assembly, MDI-080 Sample Pump Assembly; 4) sample pump assembly, NAN-090 sample pump assembly for nano-moudi. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR Part 6.302-1 in that the MSP Corporation is the only known source that can furnish theses items. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written noticification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days from the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
