65 -- Blood Platelet Collection System

FISC Norfolk Philadelphia Division intends to solicit on a sole source pursuant to FAR 6-302-1 using commercial items acquisition procedures as defined under FAR part 12, and using Simplified Acquisition Procedures per FAR part 13.5 with Gambro of Lakewood, CO for RBC Platelet kits. The kits will be used in support of the National Naval Medical Center, Blood Collection Center. It is estimated that up to 8 boxes per month will be required. Each box will contain 12 kits. The required delivery date for these units will be monthly and is expected to start the first week of January 08. A firm fixed price negotiated contract is the expected result of this acquisition effort. The NACIS code for this effort is 446110. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only those sources listed above, under the authority of the Clinger Cohen act, interested medical repair facilities may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by email at the address listed above
