Cook Medical is recognized as the sole manufacturer of these items and does not distribute them through third parties. The agreement is intended to last for 24 months from the award date, ensuring continued provision of these critical medical supplies without interruption. While this notice is not a solicitation and does not seek competitive bids, interested vendors who believe they can meet the government’s needs may submit written notifications for consideration in deciding whether a competitive procurement is warranted. However, the final decision to open competition or proceed with the sole source award remains at the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
