SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE Heart Valves The Department of Veterans Affairs Louis Stokes Medical Center (CLE VAMC), Medical Service, 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44106, intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The NAICS code is 339113 with a small business size standard of 750. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Edwards Lifesciences LLC, 1 Edwards Way, Irvine, CA 92614 for Heart Valves. The CLE VAMC Surgery Service plans on creating a one-year consignment for Heart Valves from Edwards Lifesciences. They plan on using various sizes of heart valves. They currently use various sizes from other manufacturers and will continue doing so. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 5PM EST.
