The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order with one Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) source, Fedco, LLC. The procurement is for Hill-Rom Versacare beds and P500 Surface. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 339113. Fedco is an authorized distributor for Hill-Rom and is registered in VETBIZ. This procurement will be made under the authority of Title 38 U.S.C. 8127 and implemented under VAAR 819.7007. IAW VAAR 819.7007(b), sole source awards to SDVOSB concerns, the Contracting Officer s determination whether to make a sole source award is a business decision wholly within the discretion of the Contracting Officer This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Vancouver Warehouse 1601 E. Fourth Plain Blvd Vancouver, WA 98661 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining the market place for future procurements. The Government will not pay for information submitted. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate, and award to one source to satisfy this requirement.
