65--In Vitro Diagnostic Testing Reagents

Notice of Intent under W91YU0-13-T-0158 is provided for a Sole Source Contract for In Vitro Diagnostic Testing Reagents at Madigan Army Medical Center, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Tacoma WA. Pursuant to FAR 13.501(a) and FAR 6.302-1, the MEDCOM Western Regional Contracting Office(WRCO), Tacoma, WA, intends to award a sole source contract to Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc., to include a base + two (2) one-year options. Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. has proprietary rights as the OEM to the Government-owned ProVue analyzer equipment located at Madigan Army Medical Center related to this reagent requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated products required may provide supporting documents demonstrating their capability. All responses received within 5 days of the publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
