65--Maintenance of Sterrad Plasma Sterilizer

The US Army Medical Command Southeast Region has a requirement for Maintenance and Repair Services for a Sterrad System Plasma Sterilizer. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement. The suggested contractor is Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Systems/ Advanced Sterilization Products, 425 Hoes Lane Piscataway, NJ 08854-4103. 3 quarters of Maintenance and Repair Services for a Sterrad 100S Sterilizer, Serial Number 10200070867. Period of Performance: 1 Feb 2010 through 31 October 2010. The contractor shall provide all repair parts, labor, test equipment, travel, and materials not government furnished, necessary to return the unit to fully operational capability per manufacturers specifications. Services under this Contract shall be performed by individuals who have demonstrated knowledge and competence in the servicing and maintaining of the specific instrumentation under this Contract. Need to be certified per sterilization standards. The Contractor shall insure repair technicians who have been trained on the specific equipment under contract and have two (2) years of experience in maintaining equipment specified above. Contractor must be certified on all equipment serviced. This is not a request for proposal. However, companies that can provide an equal product must submit their technical capabilities to include technical specifications of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time.
