The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) will award afollow-on contract to the National Pharmaceutical Wholesaler(NPW) using other than full and open competition as permitted by FAR 6.302-1(See NOTE 22). The NPW is responsible for replenishing pharmaceuticals dispensed by the National Mail Order Pharmacy (NMOP) contractor. The existing contract expires on 13 October 2002. The follow-on contract will be for a minimum period of 21 weeks with an estimated dollar value of $150,000,000.00. This is based on estimated sales of $30,000.000.00 per month. If required the follow-on contract may be extended to a maximum period of 12 months with an estimated dollar value of $360,000,000.00.
