GENERAL INFORMATION Notice of Intent for Sole Sorce The Great Plains Regional Contracting Office, Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas, intends to award a sole source contract to Alcon Labratories Inc. to purchase Allegretto Wavecards to be used by the department of Ophthalmology Services, at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, TX. Alcon is the sole manufacturer & distributor of the Allegretto Wave Cards, which can only be used on the currently Government Owned Wavelight Allegretto Wave Eye-Q 1047 Laser System (the equipment that the department uses to perform refractive surgery). Award will be made on or about 22 June 2012. The NAICS code for this procurement is 339113 and the size standard is 500.
