The U.S. Army Medical Command's Western Regional Contracting Office plans to award a sole source contract valued at $70,000 to Us Lombard Medical Tech for the procurement of vascular graft products. These products will be used at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, and must be FDA approved to meet the specific medical needs as determined by the attending surgeon for the patients. The contract will be awarded under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, allowing negotiation with only one source, and will follow Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. Although this notice announces the intent for a sole source award, it is not a solicitation or request for proposals. Interested vendors who believe they can supply equivalent products with suitable capabilities and specifications are invited to submit supporting documentation to the designated purchasing agent for future consideration. Submissions must be made via email and will not be accepted by phone or fax. This approach ensures that while the immediate purchase is limited to a sole source, potential alternatives may be considered in future acquisitions.
