Notice of Intent for Sole Source To continue to provide worldclass healthcare to the warfighter, the Southern Regional Contracting Office, Brooke Army Medical Center intends to award a sole source contract to Depuy Mitek for the purchase of VAPR P90 Electrodes that are designed to provide for multiple arthroscopic procedures in the shoulder, knee, wrist, elbow, and ankle. This acquisition is in direct support of the mission of Darnall Army Community Hospital, Fort Hood, Texas. The base period of performance is 1 October 2011 through 30 September 2012. This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is solicitation W81K00-11-T-0229 of purchase request GFEBS 10068483 issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 and DFARS DPN 20110629.
