Notice of Intent for Sole Source Pursuant to FAR Subpart 6.302-1, the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office (WRCO), Tacoma, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Fisher Healthcare in the total amount of $480,000.00 to purchase reagent supplies for the i-STAT 1 Chemistry Analyzer. This contract will be for a base plus four option years at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, CO. Fisher Healthcare is the only authorized distributor to Evans Army Community Hospital, authorized by Abbott Diagnostic, who is the manufacturer of the i-STAT Analyzer and reagents. This notice is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability; and specifications within three (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
