65--Notice of Intent to award sole source for Spinal Attachments and Accessories for a Mizuho OSI Surgical Table

MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office, Evans Army Community Hospital Cell, Fort Carson, CO intends to award a firm fixed priced order under FAR Part 6.302-1 for in Spinal Attachments and Accessories for a Mizuho OSI Surgical Table in the amount of $71,517.30 which is critical to support the Mizuho OSI Surgical Table Model Number 5803 from Mizuho Orthopedic Systems, Incorporated. Mizuho Orthopedic Systems, Incorporated has proprietary rights for services/parts on the equipment. This equipment is considered mission critical and imperative to maintaining patient care at Evans Army Community Hospital, Fort Carson, CO. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) (i). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This notice is not a request for quotation and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications.
