Solicitation 36C10G20Q0010 is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs Strategic Acquisition Center for the procurement of NX EQ Patient Temperature Management Systems. This requirement specifically seeks a non-invasive surface temperature management solution rather than a fully integrated therapeutic hypothermia or intravascular package. The contract will be awarded on the open market, meaning vendors are not required to have the devices or accessories listed on a Federal Supply Schedule to submit a bid. The government will consider brand name or equal products that meet or exceed the specified salient characteristics. While there is no evaluation preference or additional credit provided for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses, a price evaluation preference is available for HUBZone Small Business Concerns. Additionally, the government has declined to add a formal training requirement, although vendors may include training at no cost for evaluation purposes.
