The Sierra Pacific Network Consolidated Contracting Activity (CCA) is issuing a Commercial Item Request for Quotations (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 12.203 to purchase one (1) Ovation Orthopedic Surgical Table with pivoting arm boards, cross arm supports, traction boot liners, installation, training, operator manuals and maintenance manuals. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a proposal is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is a sole-source justified action as OSI is the only firm available to provide the equipment and subsequent installation services within one week. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 will be used in conjunction with commercial items procedures of FAR Part 12. The NAICS code is 339113, with a small business size standard of 500 employees, and the Product Service Code is 6515. The solicitation number for this RFQ is VA-261-07-RQ-0031.
