The Department of Veterans Affairs, through its VHA Network Contracting Office 6, is conducting a market survey to identify qualified vendors capable of supplying a reprocessing sink specifically designed to accommodate the XI robotic instrumentation for the Salisbury VA Medical Center in North Carolina. This notice is solely for information gathering and does not represent a request for proposal or invitation to bid. The requirement is for a stainless steel, ergonomically designed reprocessing sink with standard accessories, a small footprint, and portability via wheels. It must be capable of safely cleaning and soaking the XI endoscope, which includes the camera and cable, necessitating a larger sink than currently available. The sink's internal dimensions are 30 by 18 inches, and external dimensions are 34 by 30 inches, with an option for plumbing attachment if needed. Interested vendors are required to submit their information electronically by October 31, 2017, including company details, capability statements, socio-economic status, and registrations such as System for Award Management (SAM). Firms identifying as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned or Veteran-Owned Small Businesses must be certified via VetBiz. No telephone inquiries will be accepted, and the government will not provide payment for any information submitted. The expected delivery timeline for the equipment is within 15 days after receipt of an order. This outreach aims to gather critical market data to support potential future procurement of the specified reprocessing sink.
