Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Cepheid (DUNS: 956711444), pursuant to FAR part 12, FAR part 13, and specifically FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. The proposed sole source purchase order is for the delivery of MRSA Test Kits to the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, North Carolina. Part No. GXMRSA-100N-120) for use with the facility s existing Cepheid GeneXpert IV molecular diagnostics device. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirement, may submit a capability statement to the contracting office no later than Sunday, September 10, 2017, 08:00PM EST.
