The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 17 Network Contracting Activity, intends to solicit a sole source, firm fixed price contract with Hill-Rom, Inc. for the purchase of 45 SPO2RT BED SYSTEM Package TC-805 beds to be used at the North Texas Veterans Health Care System in Dallas, TX. The period of performance will extend from the contract award until acceptance and delivery. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or an offer solicitation, and no solicitation package is available at this time. However, any qualified vendor believing they can meet the requirements may submit written notification by email to the Contracting Officer by a specified deadline. The purpose of such responses is to determine if a competitive procurement should be undertaken, though the decision to compete or proceed solely with Hill-Rom is at the government’s discretion. Responses must provide clear and convincing evidence that competition would benefit the government. The NAICS code applicable to this contract is 339113, and the contracting office is located in San Antonio, Texas.
