See posted J&A for further information. MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD FOR OTHER THEN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION THRESHOLD 1. Contracting Agency: Southern Regional Contracting Office, Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234 2. Description of Action: Sole source acquisition with Diagnostica Stago to procure the necessary supplies needed to run the STA-R Evolution Expert Series Hemostasis System owned by BAMC. This action will be accomplished through the use of a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. 3. Description of Products/Services: The Diagnostica Stago supplies are solely used with the Evolution System. The supplies will be utilized to perform STAT Samples of clotting, chromogenic and immunological assays. 4. Authority Cited: 10 USC 2304(c) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a single source.
