The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 2 Network Contracting Office (NCO), on behalf of Veterans Administration Medical Center Syracuse,NY plans to contract by means of other than full and open competition the Osscora Drill System. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement. The NAICS code is 339113 and the Classification code is 6515. The suggested Vendor is Smith & Nephew Inc. 11775 Starkey Rd P.O Box 1970 Largo, Fl 34649-1970. Requested items consist of 1 each Versajet Console and Replacement Shelf and 5 CS of Versajet II Exact Disposable Handset 45 Degree/14MM. The Versajet II Hydrosurgery System is a wound debridement device that functions with a footswitch to debride soft tissue and cleans the surgical site. It functions with sterile saline and the hand piece possesses a high pressure jet in the operating window. It also has a vacuum free waste disposal tube. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This is not a request for proposal. However, companies that can provide an equal product must submit their technical capabilities to include the technical specification of their product, past performance information, price and delivery time.
