The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS), intends to negotiate a sole source order under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one source) for two AtriCure, Inc. of EpiSense ablation devices, 8 AtriClip PRO-V devices and 8 AtriClip PRO2 devices with AtriCure, Inc. of 7555 Innovation Way, Mason, Ohio 45040. The Justification and Approval for this action is attached. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used, and the resulting contract will be a firm fixed-price open market order. The NAICS Code is 339113. This special notice serves as notice of intent to award a sole source a contract and is not a request for competitive proposals and is not a solicitation or a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
