Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The Department of Veterans Affairs, Castle Point Campus (Hudson Valley), NY, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract to THE BAKER COMPANY INC. under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.002 - Priorities for use of mandatory Government sources and (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i)- Only One Source Reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization) for Castle Point Campus VAMC, for a follow-on requirement to purchase additional Baker ChemoSHIELD and SterilSHIELD 500 with installation.
