This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for quotes. The Department of Veterans Affairs on behalf of Albany VA Medical Center intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Federal Supply Schedule, sole source action to; Name of Contractor: TrillaMed Street Address: 30100 Telegraph Road st 366 City, State, Zip: Bingham Farms, MI 48025 The objective of this action is the procurement of Aesculap SterilContainer System JS Series Rigid Containers. The Albany Stratton VA Medical Center is seeking a Sterile container system (container top, bottom, basket, and all required filter retention and device securing hardware) for containerizing the inventory of flexible endoscopes that are currently sterilized. Market research has concluded Aesculap s containers sold via TrillaMed is the only manufacturer to meet the compatibility standardization requirements of Albany VAMC. The Veterans Health Administration prohibits the use of gray market items in their Medical Centers. Gray market items are considered to be items outside of the original equipment manufacturer s intended distribution channels.
