Salient Characteristics: Must be able to run a Comprehensive Identification Panel within a couple hours. Must complete Fungal and Blood culture ID testing. All operating software and systems must meet VA IT security requirements. Must have Windows 10 with ability to upgrade to 11 as soon as available. If windows 11 is available, it shall be provided.

Scope: The Microbiology Laboratory needs to acquire additional instrumentation to expand the capacity for testing in the current molecular microbiology area to keep up with increasing demand and maximize automated real-time PCR system that can run a comprehensive identification panel, Fungal and Blood culture ID testing. All operating software and systems must meet VA IT security requirements and if windows based be at least Window 10 with ability to upgrade to 11 as soon as available. If windows 11 is available, it shall be provided.
