The equipment, which includes one MED-FRM-501 cabinet with integrated XTEXTEND console, wired scanner, and software licenses for profile and scheduled meds, eight metal locking drawers, a Premium WIN10 package, a FlexLock cable system with 50 feet of cabling, and a pull-out shelf, is required to seamlessly integrate with the existing Omnicell server infrastructure. Open market items are included in the bundle and are justified under RFO FAR 8.104(a)(2) and GSAM/R 538.7104-3(b)(1)(ii) due to the unique and highly specialized nature of the system, which must maintain compatibility with the current automated dispensing environment. This procurement is classified under NAICS 339113 and PSC 6515, and while the total contract value is not specified, all line items are tied to a fixed-price structure. The notice is not a request for competitive proposals but serves as a public announcement to allow potential offerors to demonstrate that alternative solutions exist and competition would benefit the government. Responses must provide clear and convincing evidence of competitive advantage and must be submitted to Peyton Wilkerson at peyton.wilkerson1@va.gov no later than June 18, 2026, at 3:00 PM Mountain Time. The government retains full discretion to determine whether to proceed as planned or open the requirement to competition based on responses received.
