RFQ 36C24223Q0489 Special Notice: NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a Firm-Fixed Price sole source purchase order with Sure hand lift for the purpose of replacing the existing lift at the Syracuse VAMC. This lift is a full body lift that is used for training SCI Veteran on how to use. Due to the fact that the full body lifts will be ordered for their homes. This direct patient care procurement is needed for our SCI Veteran. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Surehands llc -FAR 8.405-6 -(a) (1)(b), as no other source of supplies will satisfy agency requirements. Surehands is a unique source. Surehands has a contract to supply Government under contract# 36F79720D0171. Again, This LIFT is a full body lift to train SCI Veterans on how to use at the hospital before departing to their homes. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339113 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to contact@example.gov by 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on 03/29/2023. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
