Solicitation 36C26122Q0602 is an award notice issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, specifically the VA Central California Health Care System, for the procurement of Philips APM X8-2t ultrasound probes. The requirement is for two new probes to be used in operating rooms at the Palo Alto VA Health Care System. This procurement is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 339113. A brand name justification was utilized to ensure compatibility with existing equipment and to facilitate an OEM exchange program for a broken probe, as market research indicated that only Philips could meet the government's specific technical needs. The procurement process involved several amendments to the original request for quote issued on May 17, 2022. These amendments, including Amendment 0001, 0002, and 0003, served to extend the offer submission deadlines and revise the statement of work and price schedules. The final extension moved the offer receipt deadline to June 7, 2022. The contract was managed by the Network Contract Office 21, with Mat Czeshinski serving as the primary contract specialist.
