The contract includes a range of items such as chair arms, articulating knee crutch kits, casters, LED exam lights, mounting hardware, accessory rails, security straps, upholstery tops, and debris trays, all limited strictly to the Midmark brand to avoid compatibility issues or damage that could negatively impact patient care or warranty coverage. The Veterans Health Administration explicitly prohibits gray market items outside of original equipment manufacturer distribution channels from being used. The contracting officer overseeing this action is Lindsay Goldsmith, who can be contacted for further inquiries, and all responses must be submitted by 4:00 PM EST on August 2, 2022.
