66--ALIGNMENT INTERFEROMETER

NASA/GSFC has a requirement for an Interferometer for the use of projects and experiments. Additional information for this requirement is as follows: Interferometer that includes an imaging lens, microscope objective lens for testing at f/2, extension tube, reference flats coated and uncoated CM Video that includes camera, black and white monitor Accessory Kit with imaging lenses Calibration Sphere and Mount Phase Shift System NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the requirement from Space Optics Research Labs LLC. It is our understanding that this company is the only vendor that has the device to support technology and development for the BETTII. . The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their questions to perform the effort in writing to Odessia Becks via e-mail at contact@example.gov, not later than 4:30 p.m. east local time November 27, 2015. Capabilities, qualifications, and quotes must be submitted by December 4, 2015 through FedBizOpps no later than 4:30 p.m. east local time. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
