This Sources Sought Notice is issued solely for market research purposes. The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is seeking qualified sources capable of providing YSI EXO and YSI Pro-Digital water quality sondes, replacement parts, accessories, maintenance, and repair services manufactured by Xylem Analytics.
This notice is for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.
REQUIREMENT
The Bureau of Reclamation currently utilizes YSI EXO and YSI Pro-Digital instrumentation throughout the California-Great Basin Region for water quality monitoring activities.
The Government requires equipment, replacement parts, and repair services that are fully compatible and interchangeable with existing Government-owned YSI instrumentation. Alternative brands or replacement systems are not being considered.
Required support may include:
• YSI EXO and Pro-Digital sondes
• Sensors, modules, cables, and accessories
• Calibration solutions and maintenance supplies
• Diagnostic evaluation and repair services
• OEM-authorized repair and maintenance support
Repair and maintenance services must be performed by Xylem Analytics or an authorized/certified YSI repair provider.
RESPONSE REQUIREMENTS
Interested firms shall submit a capability statement that includes:
1. Company name, UEI, and point of contact information;
2. Description of experience providing YSI equipment or repair services;
3. Identification of whether the firm is the OEM, an authorized distributor, or an authorized repair provider; and
4. Documentation demonstrating capability to provide YSI-compatible equipment and services, including manufacturer authorization, certifications, or other supporting evidence.
Responses shall not exceed ten (10) pages.
Failure to provide sufficient supporting documentation demonstrating capability to meet the Government’s requirements may result in the response not being considered for market research purposes.
