The Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona, plans to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Data Physics Corporation to upgrade existing Data Physics vibration test equipment at USAYPG. These upgrades are necessary to support testing for several munitions, including the M982 projectile, M1103 projectile, PERM mortar, and LAV-SANG mortar. The systems involved are proprietary, non-networked data acquisition and processing controllers with custom hardware and software. The contract involves three specific upgrades: Upgrade A will enhance a system's capability to perform Sine Resonance Search and Dwell tests and increase its hardware data channels from 8 to 16; Upgrade B will add Sine Data Reduction capability for 32 data channels; and Upgrade C will expand hardware data channels from 24 to 32, ensuring existing software remains fully operational with the increased capacity. The procurement falls under the NAICS code 334519, which covers other measuring and controlling device manufacturing, with a size standard of 500 employees, and the applicable Product Service Code is 6635. The award will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 13.
