Full Description

This synopsis is issued to notify vendors of the Department of State, Diplomatic Telecommunications Service PO, intent to award a contract/task order to Digital Lightwave locate in Clearwater, Florida. The proposed requirement is to provide maintenance and warranty support for Digital Lightwave equipment. The requirements include product re-certification, Extended warranty and Software updates. Extended warranty requirements includes factory repair parts and labor, remote troubleshooting, factory hardware modifications, 10-day turnaround and software maintenance release(s). Re-certification includes adding all outstanding ECN's and the latest firmware and a one time calibration of each unit that is currently out of the three year warranty period. It is the Department's intent to award a contract/task order to Digital Lightwave on a sole source basis. See Note 22.
