NA SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation to acquire on a Sole Source basis with MTS Systems Corporation, 14000 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344-2290 a Flex Test GT Digital Controller. This controller is required due to th e interoperability with existing MTS laboratory resources (RCPIII software and MTS hydraulic actuators.). The PST Laboratory operates tests using MTS RPCIII software which can be installed and operated on the Flex Test GT controller PC. This synopsis/solic itation for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Quotations are being requested and postings will be on the TACOM website 18 Apr 2003. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) in Warren, MI, has a requirement DAAE07-03-R-L511 for a Flex-Test GT Digital Controller.
