************ALL CORRESPONDENCE REGARDING THIS SYNOPSIS SHOULD BE SENT IN WRITING TOJUDITH DRABKIN ONLY AT contact@example.gov OR FAX: +1 (555) 000-0000*************NASA/MSFC has a requirement for a Radiflo Mark-V Test System.NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the items from IsoVac Engineering, Inc. on a sole sourcebasis.The Radiflo Mark-V test system is designed to use Krypton-85 tracer gas tonon-destructively test EEE (Electical, Electronic, and Electromechanical) devices toensure that the devices are hermetically sealed. The government has a requirement forthese testing capabilities. Due to the fact that IsoVac Engineering Inc. is the onlysupplier for this type of equipment, a sole source procurement is applicable. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to contact@example.gov no later than 4:30 p.m. CT on June 15,2010. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose ofdetermining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
