The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia plans to issue a sole source solicitation specifically for Idaho Technology Inc.’s Reagent/Assay Kits, Sample Purification Kits, and Spare Part Kits used in supporting and maintaining the JBAIDS Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) analyzers deployed across all military branches and the joint military training facility. This procurement will be structured as a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, allowing for a total potential contract duration of five years. Given Idaho Technology Inc.’s status as the original equipment manufacturer with FDA clearance and exclusive technical capability, they are uniquely qualified to fulfill the requirements of the solicitation, which will not be handled under FAR Part 12 procedures. The solicitation and subsequent contract administration will be managed electronically via the DLA Internet Bulletin Board System (DIBBS), with vendors required to register through this platform and the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system to gain access. The super user role within DIBBS oversees account management, including controlling user access and credentials. Interested parties can direct inquiries regarding the contract or qualification requirements to the Contract Specialist, Victor A. Hidalgo, via phone or email. The procurement focuses on specialized consumables essential for the operation and sustainment of the JBAIDS PCR analyzers to ensure ongoing reliability and readiness for biological agent identification and diagnostics within military operations.
