The Department of Defense, through NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia, intends to procure two servocylinders with part number 70410-22910-045 and NSN 7RE 6615 011585985 VH on a sole source basis from Sikorsky. This procurement is under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302, which allows for contracting with only one responsible source when no other supplies or services can satisfy the agency's requirements. The government does not possess the drawings or data rights necessary to source this part from other vendors, and Sikorsky is the only approved manufacturer under the existing Basic Ordering Agreement N0038322GY601. Firms interested in competing must submit a Source Approval Request if not already approved, but the procurement will proceed without delay for SAR approval. The solicitation is not a small business set-aside and will be conducted via electronic procedures posted on NECO, with proposals due within 45 days of the notice. The contract will be awarded using FAR Part 15 procedures, and all inquiries should be directed to Kate N. Schalck via email.
