Full Description

The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract for Surface Electronic Support Capability Augmentation Packages utilizing procedures under FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. This system augments the AN/SSX-1 electronic warfare system. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, Inc. The authority for use of other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed action is for supplies and a one year base period and two one-year option periods are anticipated. The anticipated award date is on or about 17 September 2010. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 334511. The size standard is 750 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
