The contract involves the procurement of five units of thermocouples, identified by NSN 1H-6685-015668801-X3, with technical data package version 004. Deliveries are to be made to two Department of Defense Logistics Agency distribution centers located in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, and Tracy, California. The contract is intended for the RDF Corporation in Hudson, New Hampshire. This action is being conducted under a non-competitive negotiation process, with the Government planning to negotiate with only one source due to the lack of data rights and the uneconomical nature of acquiring or reverse engineering data to enable competition. The Government is soliciting interest and capability statements but reserves full discretion on whether to open competition based on responses received. Interested parties may obtain relevant military and federal specifications, standards, and product lists through the DoD Single Stock Point, with many documents accessible online. While this notice is not a formal request for proposals, all responses received within the specified time frame will be considered. The contract award is subject to meeting qualification requirements in accordance with FAR clauses, and the Government has determined that commercial item acquisition policies do not apply in this case. Further details and points of contact for inquiries are provided by the Department of Defense office in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.
