6640--Clinical Laboratory Microbiological System - Instruments, Reagents, & Supplies

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21, is seeking a provider for a standardized, automated clinical laboratory microbiological system for the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System. This requirement encompasses the provision of FDA-approved instruments for identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing of microorganisms, along with all necessary reagents, consumables, controls, and ancillary supplies. The contractor is responsible for the delivery, installation, maintenance, and staff training of the system, including the provision of an uninterruptible power supply and a bi-directional interface with the VA VISTA Laboratory Information System.
